When I want to change the dimscale in Autocad, I simply type in "dimscale" on the command line. It displays the current value plus a prompt for the user to change it. The AutoCAD command line displays this: DIMSCALE Enter new value for DIMSCALE <6.0000>:
In DraftSight v2023 the command "works" whether I type DIMSCALE or SETDMGLBLSCL. However, there is no display of the current value, nor prompts of any sort to verify to the user that the system is ready to receive input. Is there a way for DraftSight to mimic what AutoCAD does, and display the current value plus a prompt to change it?
