I have an 32bit Ubuntu 12.04LTS installation using an onboard ATI video chip and 4GB ram that seems to lock up regularly while working in Draftsight. Most times it happens with two drawings open at once, but can happen with one drawing only. The screen will lock up at some point. Mouse still tracks, but clicking on anything results in nothing. Changing to a different virtual desktop can happen if done a few seconds after lockup, but then that will stop, too.
I have reinstalled Draftsight after removing it which I thought took care of the problem, but it wasn't long and the lockups returned. If I ssh into this computer, the computer seems fine and I notice the main draftsight process is still up and also a crash report process is running and listed right after the main draftsight process. Killing these processes do not help nor does the main process seem actually die as it's still listed with the same PID. I usually reboot the computer from this ssh connection only to have it happen soon after.
Is there anywhere I can check to track this down? Anyone else noticing this? Thank you.
Paul
