I have a "rookie" type question, but I am unable to figure it out.

I go to the Customize Interface menu, then Interface and Menu. I add a dropdown menu item with some commands. Of course, it loads when I open Draftsight, but how do I save that particular dropdown so I don’t lose it as I did a few days ago and be able to open it as needed? I assumed it was being saved with another menu  but looks like it was not. I don’t want to go thru creating a new one until I learn how to save it that particular dropdown. I select the "Create Customization File" option, but the file it creates doesn't seem to have the commands I added to it and it doesn't load the menu when I select it.
