Does anyone know if it is possible to roll back to a previous version of DS?

I have recently upgraded to R3 and have found that there are huge problems with the Print Configuration that had been ironed out by R2.  DS is not commercially usable for me any longer as I cannot print out what I see on the screen and have not yet found a workaround.  I described my woes in post https://swym.3ds.com/#community:70/iquestions:14160 but no one has been able to solve the problem yet.

The other improvements in R3, although pretty minor, were very welcome, but this issue blows it out of the water.
