I have discovered that including a related hatch in a quick group leads to it becoming unrelated to its boundary if the quick group is ungrouped.

When making a quick group include only the boundary and not hatch. by doing this the hatch will respond to commands as if it was part of the group and it will remain related to its boundary if the group is un grouped.
