I'm running a Dell Inspiron 17 5000 Series laptop running Windows 10 and DraftSight 2015 x64 SP3 with a Intel HD Graphics 5500 display adapter. I've already checked the Dell web site to confirm I'm running the most recent video driver for my graphics card.
I am using the Insert --> Reference Image command to insert a black and white .JPG image into the drawing (on a layer called Image) so I can trace over it. I'm setting the insertion properties in the dialog box to:
Insertion Point: 0,0,0
Scale: 2.0
Rotation: 0.0
When the image is first inserted, it displays correctly:
As soon as I pan, zoom or draw any new geometry the image becomes a grey rectangle:
I can get the image to display correctly by selecting it, changing the "Show Image" property to "No" and then changing it back to "Yes" again. However, as before, when any change are made to the drawing the reference image changes back to the gray rectangle.
Needless to say, this id having a pretty severe impact on my ability to finish the drawing. Any suggestions?
