I am using DraftSight  V1R3 under Linux (Fedora Core 16, 64-bit). I am working with a file in which I have imported a reference image. When it is first imported, the image appears in the Model and other sheets and I can draw over it. However, once I save the drawing (R2010) and reopen, the Model and other Sheets only display the reference image by an outline. Clicking on the outline box, I see options such as Show Image which is set to Yes, but it has no effect, nor does transparency, Brightness, Contrast, or Fade. In Print Preview the Image does appear, and when I print to pdf the image is present.

To make the reference image visible, I have found the following trick. Open a new drawing. Import the reference image at any scale in any location. Go back to the old drawing, copy all, and paste into the new drawing. The reference image now appears in the correct location and scale. Upon saving and reopening, however, I find the same problem again
