Hi all,

I have just successfully installed DraftSight 2017 SP3 free version and used it for a couple of days.

Then yesterday, I left my computer for about an hour with several applications open like Chrome, Excel etc. and as well DraftSight. When I returned, Windows had made a restart (automatic update I suppose) and when opening DraftSight again, I could only open all my CAD files as read only, see attached dialogue box. It should be noted that all my CAD files are stored on my cloud drives at Dropbox and OneDrive but DraftSight now seems to refuse to open all files from any subfolder in my user root folder (C:\\Users\\). DraftSight does however allow me to open and save files in the user root folder. This is VERY annoying!

The problem does not exist for other programs like Word, Excel etc.

Has anyone here got a clue how to rectify this? I have tried a few things with permissions but every time I change attributes via Properties and press OK, next time I open Properties, the settings have been restored to the previous settings.

Any help would be highly appreciated :-)
