Something changed with my properties window.  It is wider than it used to be.  I know I can grab a corner and adjust the actual width and height but what is displayed inside takes up more space than it used to.

I don't know how it happened.  Are there settings that control it ?  And it seems like I used to be able to select multiple items to edit without holding the shift key.  Is it possible?
