Is there anybody else having problems when printing with a printer that has multiple trays / paper sizes available to it.
All other software on the PC has no problem with the tray select being left as automatic in the printer configuration - only DraftSight requires that I select tray 4 when I want to print A3 (although if I remember correctly its happy to print A4 when the tray setting is left as automatic).
Leaving the tray setting as automatic when attempting to print an A3 print results in the printer reporting a mismatch in paper size, even though in the screen for print settings A3 has been selected.
Update 31st Jan 2012:
Now using DraftSight V1 R1.4 still experiencing the same problem, but I seem to have found a workaround of sorts. If when you hit the print button you then press the properties button for the printer - and then simply press they OK button without having made any changes - you will then be able to hit the OK in Print dialogue box and have the drawing then print without any problems. At least it means you don't have to remember what paper size is in what tray.
This really needs to be looked at and fixed as its a bit ridiculous that the printer is already on automatic selection, and when the dialogue box for the printer properties has been opened in Draftsight no changes have been made it will print, but if you don't open the printer dialogue box it doesn't.
