I have just downloaded and installed the free version of Draftsight V1R1.3 on a Windows XP computer.
I can successfully print to most of the office printers, but when I try to print to our Oce TDS400 plotter the Draftsight program crashes, giving the following message:
“The program must close. Before the program closes, you can try to save changes in:
C:\\Programfiles\\Dassault Sytemes\\Draftsight\\Bin\\NONAME_O_RCOVER_0_2011-10-19.dwg
Any changes that are saved are those prior to the last command you used.
Do you want to save? Yes/No”
The program then repeats the question, offering to save the drawing to the folder it was opened from.
No other options are offered before the program shuts down.
The program crashes whether I type in print, use the menu print command, or press P.
The plotter is an Oce’ TDS400, running on a workstation that uses an Oce’ custom operating system based on Windows NT.
The driver and operating system were re-installed very recently by the local Oce’ service provider, so it is current. The plotter is working fine with other programs.
