This is probably a simple issue, but my CAD skills are basic, and I have only just started using draftsight, and I have an issue with printing or exporting drawings to PDF.

I'm currently trying to produce a simple schematic line drawing. As it is just a schematic, dimensions don't matter, I just need it to be clear when it prints. I need to be able to send out A4 pdf's for others to print.

I have everything as I want it in the model space - I have drawn things at the size I want them to appear on an A4 sheet and set the print configuration to 1:1 scale. This doesn't seem to be reflected when I look at the sheet view - items appear smaller than expexted - eg a 200mm long line should be pretty much the full width of the page at A4, but it is much smaller. Also, when exporting or printing the sheet as a PDF, the line weights are all over the place and "fuzzy". I've played with different line weights in the model space, but it doesn't appear to affect things much - I cant get a sharp image on a PDF.

This is probably some basic part of the setup I'm not understanding, but it's driving me nuts and I can't find any suggestions or solutions online. Any help or suggestions wouls be much appreciated.
