I am trying to change templates that our design office uses so they are "draftsight" ready.

for testing i have copied the .dwt files and made a network share containing the .CFG files for the printers and the config.map.

i am really struggling trying to get the printer configurations to stick and/or change.

first question;

how exactly are the print configurations saved to templates (.dwt) or .dwg files for that matter? are they created in the config.map and referenced from that?

second question;

if the above is correct and i change a print configuration applied to a sheet , why doesn't the config.map file update itself accordingly and change the reference?

Has anyone got any ideas? I can add new print configurations fine they appear in the config.map...
