I've searched for the answer on this one but it seems to be either not possible or too obvious to be in the manual! I'm hoping the last one...

All I want to do is have the area of a polyline 2d shape as a persistant notation on the plan that updates if I change the polyline. I use it to work out plot areas for buildings quickly. At work I use Bluebeams for it, at home i run a Mac which bluebeams does not support. I'm persevering with Draftsight, though it seems I just don't get how it thinks yet.

I can see the area in the properities, I would like it to be a notation on the drawing area (like a linear dimension, or any other entity) that I can work with at a glance.

Is this possible?
