Tried to search for anything on this but didn't see anything.  When you enter a number into draftsight such as an offset you can't include an operator and a decimal.  I can do fraction entry which returns a decimal equivalent but does this not do simple functions such as 7.5/2 as an entered number?  It would seem common sense given that the software is there to do 7/2.  Being able to perform simple math in the number entry would greatly increase the function of the program for me at least.  If it is there I have been unable to find it or how to do it.
