I am a brand new user of DraftSight having downloaded the latest version today. My first attempt was to open an Autocad LT .dxf file but the format was not recognised by Draftsight. I then tried opening the Autocad LT .dwg file and that was not recognised either. I also tried importing the files and inserting them with no success.

The need to open files created on other systems is a big part of being able to meet the Customers needs and it was my understanding that .dxf files could be opened by most systems.

Any help would be appreciated.
