If I have a solid (such as a Logo) it does not print as solid, only an outline. If the drawing was originally created in Autocad, it does print solid. Also, if I open a file created by DraftSight in Autocad and print it from there, the image is also solid. The image also does not show as solid in print preview.
Even if a just add a new sheet to an existing drawing that was created in Autocad, the new sheet will not print solids - however, previous sheets do correctly
It appears that this occurs only in drawings or new sheets created by DraftSight and printed from DraftSite.
Visually, the image is solid when viewed…it just does not print that way. Also, heavy lines only show outlines and are not filled.
Other than that, this is one remarkable program. Even after just one day I am preferring it over Autocad (and I have been an Autocad user for a very long time).
