My Local steel supplier is now requiring all files to be in .dxf format. whenever I send them a file from draftsight they cannot read it - regardless of .dxf version i choose!. I typically create parts in solid works then put together a cutting order in draftsight. exporting straight to .dxf for solid works creates a readable file, but that is not ideal as I often add dimensions and notes.
