I see from the answer to a recent  iQuestion that a new release of DraftSight will be available in the near future.

Does this release fix the AcSignIcon.dll problem that I have previously reported effected me when installing version V1R3 (and which resulted in me reverting to version V1R2.1).

It seems to mainly be effecting LT2004 / LT2005 users, and if you want people to be moving away from AutoCAD I think that this is a group of users that you don't want to be having problems as soon as they have installed the software.

As has been mentioned before, AcSignIcon.dll may not be a DraftSight file - but it is V1R3 that was causing the problem.

Also see SR00111205, which seems to have just been closed down by the support team as they had no resolution for it (if I understood their reply correctly).
