I have installed SolidWorks For Makers and running DraftSight as Trial for now. I have a few questions and comments.

Installation and use of Symbols & Blocks, such as for use in creating electrical & electronic schematics, panel layout and later basic PCB design.

1. Where do I find the pathway to these libraries, i.e., Online documents. Where are they typically installed? If manually 'paste', where? Should they be grouped by specific Folders? Consider I am the only user.
2. What is a good source of standard symbols and blocks for typical engineering applications? Purchase and Free?
3. Is there a preference to import SVG or DWG blocks? I would assume DWG if available. IMHO, many times SVG imports go badly!
4. Which Symbol and Block Online offerings do most DraftSight Users prefer? 
5. DraftSight uses a 'pick & drag' from symbol listings in the work area margins correct?
