new MAC version V1R3.2 hogs 100% of CPU when doing simple tasks!

Hello,

My Mac version V1R3 'expired' today so I was forced to download the newest version. With the usual trepidation as to be honest each new version seems to break more things than it fixes for the Mac.

This version seems to have a major issue. When trying to do simple tasks like selecting multiple polylines it freezes for a very long time. I've observed the Activity Monitor whilst doing it and it shows that Draftsight is using up to 200MB Real Mem, which is fine but is taking up a ridiculous 100% of the CPU. This pretty much renders the programme unusable. I have at least 2GB of free Ram at the same time. I'm on a 2010 iMAC with 2.8GHz intel Core i5 and 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM. Graphics card is ATI Radeon HD 5750 1024 MB. I'm running OS X 10.8.4.

The download said it was for version V1R3.1

http://www.3ds.com/products/draftsight/download-draftsight/

but it actually downloaded V1R3.2. I can't find any mention of this version on this website or anywhere else, neither can I find any release notes.

Previously the inability to dock the toolbars at the edge was the major issue, that hasn't been fixed from what I can see.

I would happily pay for Draftsight but not if it doesn't work. Is it possible to allow previous versions to remain usable?

I would really appreciate a response and any help that can be offered would be fantastic.

Thanks

Dave

EDIT: I've tried removing the FxQuickLookDrawing.qlgenerator as discussed in older threads but it does nothing.
