I am testing DraftSight with the view to switch from AutoCad. I am trying to create a custom Multileader style in DraftSight that matches a multileader style I have set in AutoCAD that is critical for my workflow. In AutoCad I am able to create a style that has 2 vertices for the leader, no landing, with attached mText that is aligned at the same angle as the leader. If the angle of the leader that uses this style is modified, say by shifting the leader grip, then the mText angle automatically updates to match the new angle of the leader. In DraftSight the attached note is always of angle 90 degrees, and this does not rotate with the leader.
The relevant settings in DraftSight I have are:
Format - Line type: Straight
Settings - Unlimited vertices unticked, Vertex maximum: 2, Angle: First segment: No Constraints, Second Segment: No Constraints, Include landing line: not ticked.
Contents - Angle: Always right-reading
The relevant equivalent settings in AutoCad I have are:
Leader Format - Type: Straight
Leader Structure - Maximum leader points 2. First segment angle: not ticked, Second segment angle: not ticked, Automatically include landing: not ticked.
Content - Text angle: Always right-reading
As you see I have compared the settings between AutoCAD and DraftSight and they appear to be very similar, but there seems to be some inconsistency in how DraftSight handles the Multileader style settings. I would appreciate it if someone could provide me with some guidance on how to achieve the same functionality as the style in AutoCAD, or if there is a workaround or fix that you can suggest for this issue in DraftSight.
