in autocad you could right click on the dimension text and move just the text, not finding any similar method to do this in draftsight.

i want the 1/2 on the other side, simple i know, but not finding anything on my own.

p.s. it took me over half an hour to post this question, thank god the solidworks forum isn't as ridiculous as this one
