Every time I press the Esc key the mouse cursor disappears from the working area, it is visible in the DraftSight menu sections, and outside of the DraftSight window. The only way to get it back is to restart DraftSight.

I have followed all the suggestions around mouse cursors disappearing; including a fresh install, but still the same issue.
