I've been happily using DraftSight for a few years. Yesterday, midway through a job, I found myself unable to do the most basic commands - for example, I couldn't create a line. To use this example, once I selected the line command I couldn't specify the start point using the mouse. It would recognise the coordinates entered by a keyboard, but I could use a mouse click to start or end a line. I could select a handle on an existing line to move it, but it wouldn't recognise a second click to place the handle.

Even clicking to form a selection box, the first click would be recognised, and a box would form, but I couldn't make a second click to define the size of the selection box.

I have opened a variety of files, both old, current and new, but the problem persists. I re-installed DraftSight and tried rolling back to an earlier revision I have. Still, I cannot get it working.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I am in the middle of a job for a client, and need to get this resolved as soon as possible!
