I installed DraftSight Standard on a new 2021 Mac Pro. It appeared to function properly. I imported a .DWG drawing from my old Mac that was running the free copy of DraftSight. I discovered that the dropdown (Offset) does not function correctly. When the drawing is first opened I can offset a line say 2". Then if I try and offset the original line or a different line say 10" it will only offset it 2", the initial number I entered the first time.
A second issue is with (Rotate), I highlight the line or object, right click the cursor on the rotation point, enter the degrees of rotation, and then have to hold the return/enter key for at least half a second before the object rotates. However, it doesn't rotate per the degree I entered, nor does it rotate around the point I right clicked on. This seems like a program issue. Having to hold the return/enter key for half a second might be a Mac issue but I'm not sure.
I did open up DraftSight in the old Mac and made sure all the Preferences were identical on both machines.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
Aaron
