I do not use my middle button to pan, so I set the mbuttonpan=0. The goal is to have the running ESnaps menu pop up so i can make a selection from it transparently when in the middle of a command such as move or copy.
When I set mbuttonpan=0; however, the middle button appears to act more as a right button.
Can anyone shed some insight on this behavior?
I should add that I am fairly sure it was working with my previous standalone installation but since I installed a trial version of Premium to test the lisp functionality before bringing DraftSight into my shop It seems not to work. Mayhap I modified some setting inadvertently or perhaps ill-advisedly.
FOLLOWUP: I performed a reinstall, copied only the "application.xml" file from the old UI and the problem as manifested is gone. Still not clear what settings I had changed to mess it up. If I figure that out will post.
The setting that turns the middle button into an "Enter" is:
Tools > Options > User Preferences > Mouse Options > Currently Processing Command : "Right-clicking when a command is in progress" is set to "Is the same as pressing Enter"
If this isn't a bug it should be. Right click options shouldn't be messing with my middle button.
