I have been using draftsight for a couple of months now and have had no problems, i opened up draftsight to day and when i did, my menu bar had disappeared (please find attatched image of screen).

I have the current version V1 R3.1 and it is running on 64bit windows 8. 

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing but to no avail. Help would much appreciated as this problem needs to be fixed asap. Thanks.
