Hi - just found DraftSight. Trying to use it on Linux to enable me to chuck out MicroSoft.

20 years experience of TurboCAD, producing very complex drawings. I need to find an equivalent of the TurboCAD "Meet 2 lines" command, which extends and/or trims 2 lines so they share a common vertex. This takes 3 clicks in TurboCAD and is probably my most used edit command. Despite reading all the documentation I can find on the Net, I have not yet found a DraftSight equivalent, and certainly not something that is not hopelessly time consuming and cumbersome.

I am trying to put together a TurboCAD/DraftSight equivalence chart - I can make this available (when complete) if anyone is interested - or is there something similar already available?
