There are many issues with Draftsight on the Mac, but most problematic is having to restart the application every 5-10 minutes.  The application pauses and a dialog box pops up indicating "Your system has run out of Application Memory".  I am using a macbook pro with retina display that I purchased new in October of 2014.  I am new to Macs so I am not sure if there are any settings I can change that would correct this problem, or if adding additional memory would help.

It does not look as though the developers ever respond to these posts, so I am hopeful someone else has been able to fix this problem.
