I have drawing in Acad, and notes in Excel in 3 columns - item code, item heading, item text.

I copy 2 Excel cells, code and heading, e.g. 6Gh RAFTERS, and Paste Special into the Acad drawing as annotation; also e.g. 6Gj TRIMMERS and 6Gj NOGGINGS etc etc.

That's fine, but they are just dumb images of the Excel cells. I would like the 2 cells to be live-linked to the Excel file, so if e.g. 6Gh changes in Excel to 6Gm, it also changes in the Acad drawing.

This doesn't work in Acad 2006. Will it work in DS V1R2.0?
