I notice a question asked in 2007 about being able to load Lisp routines in a stand-alone installation. The answer was "no but maybe in the future". It is now 2013 and this functionality is still not offered. I'm an Architect who wishes to use Draftsight at home but I've got to be able to load some Lisp routines to do things like draw doors, insert structural shapes and so forth. Until this functionality is offered, I'll have to go elsewhere for an alternative to AutoCAD. Which is a shame because I like every other aspect of the program.
It is my understanding that a major release of Draftsight is coming this year? Perhaps it will be there?
