Please can you help?

I am setting up a drawing template with some text and line types added, set up to suit for 1:50, 1:25, 1:20 and 1:10;

But i am having trouble making my line type scales work properly. I have set the LTSCALE AND PSLTSCALE both to 1, but this doesn't seem to make much difference in the viewports. The scale only seems to make a difference if i change the properties by a multiple of 10 rather than what i have been using at work:

My original settings are from work and using AutoCAD, for example:

Line type: Center

Line scale: 0.75

I am trying to duplicate the same settings as above, but in DraftSight and at home:

Line type: Center

Line scale: 7.5

Please can you tell me why the difference is a multiple of ten or what i am doing wrong to try and match my work settings?

Also, within tools / options / drawing settings / behaviour - enable relative dimensions

I have un-checked this option so that dims are not relative for my template profile. But after closing and restarting DraftSight the box is ticked again and has not saved my settings? Please tell me how i can fix this if possible?
