Line Weight EMF Export

Hi, I'm not a drafter. In my role I'm supporting a product that requires a WMF or EMF of an aerial of a site which is then used in our GIS solution.

Traditionally I have done my entire workflow ending in a WMF from AutoCAD. For this customer's site, this is not working. Research has indicated that EMF is a better format, which has lead me to a trial of DraftSight.

The EMF is exporting quite well, however the line weights are way off and unusable to calibrate the output in the GIS solution.

Here is a sampling of the dwg (black bg) and the same area from the EMF (white bg). Not concerned about the color at this point, I'm more concerned with having the LW the same in the export).

Any hints on settings/process to get the emf to export exactly as it appears? Both of these samples are quite zoomed out compared to what is practically needed. To be usable I need to keep the lineweight to a minimum at the highest zoom level. In the samples, the LW is set to 0.15mm.

For reference the entire area is ~12000 feet by 6000 feet and trying to do the export with as much monitor space as I have available (2560x1440).

Ihave done dozens of these types of sites without issue in the past using a wmf from AutoCAD. This site is over twice as large as most and I think it is this fact that is causing a lot of issues. That said, I have successfully done other sites of similar size without these issues.

Thanks
