Is there a way to quickly reorientate dimensions with smart dimension?

So when I'm making a dimension with the smart dimension tool, it usually seems to know exactly what I want. But sometimes I need it to be a less-obvious orientation. The only way I can get Draftsight to change this though, is by flipping my mouse around wildly hoping that the program figures it out. Is there some other option I'm missing? Like maybe a key I can press to cycle through the options?

There's two ways that I find myself wanting to change a dimension. First off, I may be making a linear dimension, which could be either orthogonal vertically or horizontally, or an angle. It's really annoying that I don't have a conrete way to cycle between these three possibilities.
The other situation that I run into is with short vertical dimensions; they have short leader lines that make a 90 degree turn to point to the text. But sometimes I need that to be facing left, and sometimes facing right. I have somehow managed to get Draftsight to flip this about five times ever, but I have no idea how to do it on command.
