AutoCAD has a Break Line command (see http://www.cad-addict.com/2009/08/autocad-breakline-and-dimjogline.html). This is NOT the same as a line break. It is a line with a zigzag in it, that represents that a long object is represented shortened, for convenience. The line itself is easy enough to draw. However, it would be nice if there were a way to indicate for the dimensioning purposes, that the dimensions are actually supposed to be longer. I couldn't find a way to edit dimensions.

So I guess my questions are:

• is there a way to add a break line?
• is there a way to edit dimensions?
