Usually I've opened DraftSight by double-clicking an existing drawing. It has never appeared in the Win7 Start Menu list of frequently used programs.

So for two weeks now I've been purposely starting it from its own icon in the Start Menu. It _still_ does not appear in the frequently used list! Some programs, like "Start Google Earth in OpenGL mode" appear there after a single start, so I can't imagine why DraftSight still doesn't. 

Does it for anyone?
