I am very new here and trying to figure out hoave to use the various pages.
I am using PCLinuxOS KDE32, in the past couple of years intermittently each 2 months. I have so far with a bit of tweaking had little trouble to install either the .rpm version or .deb version. The error messages have been sufficient to let me figure out how to run DS in PCLinuxOS, runs very nicely thank you.
Last use was a couple of weeks ago with no problems. Yesterday when trying to run again I met message License Expired.. I could find no way to take action on this, DS did not open.
I downloaded V1R3.2 both .rpm and .deb and both failed to install for me. The message I get, this line:
[root@localhost ~]# /opt/dassault-systemes/draftsight/bin/draftsight
/opt/dassault-systemes/draftsight/bin/draftsight.bin: symbol lookup error: ../lib/libK2AVCommand.so.1: undefined symbol: uuid_generate
[root@localhost ~]#
This problem goes beyond my ability. I searched on the Internet and my understanding is that something was missed during compile time.
Any hints what may be wrong?
In a bit of desperation I downloaded the 32 bit windows which installed fine on XP but the registration details sent ok, but I have not received an email. I have tried two of my email addresses I have used in the past to register earlier versions of DS.
I also notice that the windows version is about 120 MB which is the same as the previous Linux versions I have. The new Linux versions run at 300 MB. This is a big jump in size for a free program?

Update:
1.. Registration server must have started working, I have had a number of almost instant responses to registering a number of test installs.
2.. I force installed an older version, this resulted in presentation of registration screen. I filled in and confirmed registration within minutes. The system however came up with the error message: This product is not licensed or has expired.
3.. With nothing to loose I deleted the folder /opt/dassault-systemes and re-instated the V1R3.2 I had already attempted to run without luck. To my big surprise however the registration window showed and I completed registration within minutes and the system appears to be working.
