When you want to install DraftSight on any 64-bit Ubuntu or Linux Mint, make sure that you have installed the ia32-libs 32-bit compatibility library in Synaptic package manager. Or type in the terminal "sudo apt-get install ia32-libs". Otherwise the installation of DraftSight will fail.  After installing this 32-bit compatibility library you can install DraftSight itself.
