Installation: Windows 7 SP1, 64 bit and x64 Draftsight SP2 may 2017

Hi,

In short: I cannot progress in the installation of Draftsight because the "install" button under the License Agreement dialog, albeit being enabled ("I accept the terms in the license agreement" is selected) does nothing. I do not get any clear error. It just does nothing.

 

Some things I did:

I used the last 2016 Draftsight edition on my computer and it went fine.

Then I missed the critical fix and a week ago, after months, I started the Draftsight version I had installed and it crashed.

I recalled the critical fix problem.

Hence

1) I uninstalled Draftsight

2) I downloaded the SP2 May 2017 32-bit version by mistake and when executing it I got an error

3) I downloaded the right 64 bit version and I got the problem above.

4) Tried removing old directories in AppData, nothing changed

5) Updated my windows with all today's available updates. Nothing changed.

Suspecting something must be going on in the registry? Requisites seem to be satisfied, so I guess it is not yet time to throw the box in the garbage :)
