When I insert an image, it looks correct. However, when I reopen the drawing, there's just an empty rectangle with the path to the image written in it. I have tried switching image formats but that doesn't help. The only thing that has worked is inserting the image, saving it as a block to an external file, then erasing the original image/block and re-inserting the block from file. That's a long way to go to just get a simple image in the drawing though.
