Is there anyway to insert a block without having to have '.dwg' on the end?

For example. (I have mapped a support search path to D:\\Draftsight\\E-Blocks\\)
101.dwg is the block name. 

Command: -i (enter) 101
Instead of: -i (enter) 101.dwg 

Like in Autocad.
