I'm not the first person to ask this but I've just updated draftsight and inserting a reference image has become a nightmare. I just upgraded from 2011 and the reference image option was fine. I could insert an image and the background of the image was "transparent". It allowed me to click and drag, select lines. and move things without selecting or moving the reference image. The only way to move the reference image was to select the outside border. It worked great for overlays of google earth. Now anytime I try and click and drag inside an image, it just selects and moves the image. Even locking the layer doesn't work because it just throws up the lock symbol like its still trying to drag it. Don't even get me started on how messed up the E-snaps are when using images now. The only way to achieve what I originally did is to hide the image each time and turn off the snaps. Very inconvenient and takes about 10 times as long to do anything. This is such an obvious problem that there has got to be a way to make it like it used to be. Any ideas?
