Since I installed the "release" version of DraftSight, if I click and hold on any entity, and accidentally or intentionally drag it, it moves! This is of course disastrous in a CAD program! And then when I release the mouse, the object is no longer selected, and neither is anything else that was already selected.
When I undo the unwanted move, the command line says "Undo DROPGEOMETRY". Searching here, or the web, I don't find anything for DROPGEOMETRY.
The only way to use the normal click selection is to barely tap the mouse button for an extremely short click - then things select and stay selected.
I'm also having other more serious problems with the program getting into a mode where the menus, toolbars, and Properties pane completely ignore clicks, and where it appears the program thinks the entire screen is part of the drawing. When that is happening, I can click in what looks like the interface area, drag into the drawing area, and get a selection rectangle that appears to start from that click. A restart of Windows is required to recover normal operation.
Support blames my graphics card, but it hasn't changed since the betas worked perfectly! I do use a Motion Computing Win7 tablet with a Wacom screen, but two normal mice do exactly the same thing the pen does.
Am I the only one?
