I've been getting a lot of calls recently from people who need to open my drawings but their ACAD is telling them that it is a future version and will not let them open it. They are running ACAD 2009. I can fix it for them but I have to open the drawing and do a save as.

If I open a drawing that they just opened (therefore it is already an older version) and I save it, it changes to a future version again. This is time consuming and too easy to forget that we have to do a save as every time we save a dwg. Is there a way to fix this?
