I am trying to open drawings that are created with Autocad in foreign countries. I receive the drawings without the person or persons performing the -etransmit function in Autocad. I can open the drawings with my 30 day trial of Autocad, well for 28 more days. Because of the language barriers and the juggling of drawings (sent back and forth) I don't think I can get my foreign collaborators to package the dwgs up nice and neat for me. When trying to open these dwgs in Draftsight I don't get a popup saying something is wrong, it just freezes.

Does anyone have a solution or do I need to spring for the Autocad license?
