It can be a fairly tedious matter to set up a couple dozen or more dimension styles and commonly used layers and linetypes for each drawing. I know, make a template. But what if you use multiple templates, for A, B, C, D drawing sizes? Or want to fix old drawings? Isn't there an easy way to transfer all the styles, layers and linetypes from one drawing to another? It's easy in Autocad LT 2006 and up. First you open the source drawing (or template), then the target drawing. Next you open the "Design Center" which shows all the styles, linetypes, etc. for each drawing. You then highlight the styles you want, and drag them from the Design Center to the open drawing. That transfers the styles, layers, and linetypes.
Is there a way to do this in DraftSight?
