Good morning,
I'm an engineering intern working for a Solar PV company in France. I'm currently working on Draftsight in order to experiment some of its functionalities such as the bill of materials. Currently our designers design some layouts for different PV systems (for our clients) without directly having a list of the components we need to order. We have to do it manually.
I saw there was a possibility to do that on Draftsight thanks to a table linked to what you call "balloons". But we need everytime to insert the ballons to provide informations about the components' details, the quantity, etc before creating the bill of materials.
Is it possible to short-cut this step on Draftsight ? The aim is when we design our system with the different blocks, we can directly have a bill of materials which counts the blocks and which provides the correct references without balloons?
Could you please help to find a solution in order to solve this problem. Thank you so much in advance and have a good day.
Guillaume
