Below is a problem report that I have sent without success on the 26th and again on the 28th March 2013.
Scale setting problem.
Going to FORMAT > DIMENSION STYLE... > LINEAR DIMENSION > SCALE FACTOR and entering 0.01 results in the error message “Error: The value you entered is invalid. The value will be set to the minimum.” and 0.1 is set.
Now draw a line (any length) and dimension it.
Select the dimension and go to the PROPERTIES PALETTE > PRIMARY UNITS SYSTEM panel > xn DIM SCALE LINEAR and enter 0.01 and it is accepted and the value of the dimension changes to correctly show the effect of the new factor.
Why is the smaller value rejected in the first instance but accepted in the second?
I suspect a problem with the format dimension algorithm.

I would appreciate a member of the support team forwarding it to the development team.
