If I use print preview from the print configuration window when in a sheet layout the preview correctly shows the whole of the sheet (A4, A3, etc.) that I am viewing.

If I use it from the File menu (or type PREVIEW on the command line) it shows only an A4-sized portion of the sheet starting from the lower left corner even when I am viewing a larger sheet.

How do I make it consistently show the whole sheet?
